Episode 102: The Power of Mindfulness, Movement & Community for Better Mental Health with Danielle Coppleson
What if protecting your mental health didn't require a complete life overhaul—but simply learning to pause?
In a world where stress, overwhelm and constant busyness have become the norm, it's easy to put our own wellbeing at the bottom of the list. But what if some of the most powerful ways to support our mental health were also the simplest?
In this episode of It's a Mindset, I'm joined by my beautiful friend Danielle Coppleson, an accredited Mindfulness Meditation Facilitator, certified Modern Qigong Teacher and Mental Health Nurse with more than 25 years' experience helping people navigate life's challenges.
Danielle and I have known each other since high school, but we reconnected when we both became mums and attended prenatal yoga together. Since then, it's been such a joy to watch our paths evolve in similar ways, each of us creating spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves and feel supported.
Together we explore how mindfulness, meditation, Modern Qigong and, perhaps most importantly, community can become powerful tools for protecting our mental health and helping us live with greater presence, resilience and connection.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, craving more calm, or simply looking for practical ways to support your wellbeing, this conversation is a gentle reminder that you don't have to do it alone.
